Mary Catherine Johnson (formerly Schmitz), who was a long time resident of Copper Harbor, MI passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 12, 2026 while under the care of Canal View in Hancock, MI.
A memorial service will be held for Mary at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet, Michigan on Friday June 26, 2026 at 12:00pm. There will be a one hour visitation prior to the service from 11:00am-12:00pm. There will be a private burial in Lake View Cemetery in Calumet following the service.
