Howard Carl Soli, 84, L'Anse

Howard Carl Soli, 84, of L'Anse, Michigan, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Bayside Village in L'Anse.

He was born on February 26, 1942, in Pequaming, Michigan, to Howard and Genevieve (Getzen) Soli. Howard grew up in the Detroit area. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959-63. Howard worked as a carpenter. He moved to Pequaming in 1996, and worked at Erickson Lumber.

He is preceded by his parents, and a sister Lorena Domby.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Soli of L'Anse; siblings, Jim Soli of West Chester, Ohio; Norman Soli, Kathy Erickson, Ken Soli, brother-in-law Bob Domby; his children, Susan (David), Howard (Heidi) Soli Jr., Laura Soli, Phil Soli, Paul Soli, David (Sue) Danaher, Daniel (Tammy) Danaher, Darcy (John) Mullett, Dennis, Donald (Kathy) Danaher, and Darin Danaher; He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 22nd from 4-6 PM at Jacobson Funeral Home, with Rosary at 5:30 PM. His funeral mass will be on Friday, October 23rd at 1 PM at Sacred Heart of Jesus church with Fr. Ben Rivard and Fr. Corey Litzner concelebrating. A luncheon will follow the service in the church hall. Burial will be in the Pequaming Cemetery at a later date.
