Search Warrant Executed in Richland Center

Richland Center Police Chief Billy Jones reports that on Monday, June 22, at approximately 10:30 AM., the Richland Center Police Department executed a Search Warrant at 957 Sextonville Road in the City of Richland Center.

Chief Jones would like to assure the public that there is no ongoing threat to community safety. As this remains an active criminal investigation, the information being released at this time is
limited.

The Richland Center Police Department, with assistance from the Richland County Special Response Team and the Richland County Sheriff’s Office, executed the Search Warrant as part of an ongoing investigation. At approximately 10:29 AM, officers entered the residence and detained three individuals while the residence was cleared and secured to ensure the safety of all involved.

During the execution of the Search Warrant, investigators located items believed to be associated with criminal activity. As a result, a 27-year-old Richland Center man was arrested without incident and transported to the Richland County Jail, where he was booked and later released pending charges related to the investigation. The remaining occupants of the residence were interviewed on scene and released upon completion of the search.
