The American Red Cross urges donors to give blood or platelets now to help hospitals and transfusion centers stay prepared to help all patients.

Area blood drives that will be held Monday include from 11:00 to 4:00 at the Westby Coon Prairie Church and from 1:00 until 6:00 at the American Legion Club House in Plain.

Two more blood drives will be held Wednesday (July1) from 9:30 to 1:30 at the Wonewoc Public Library and from 11:00 to 3:00 at the Ridgeway Community Center.

Book a time to give blood or platelets now by visiting red cross blood dot org, calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or by using the Red Cross Blood Donor App. Walk-ins will also be welcome.
