Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce launched a new awareness campaign
For over a century, manufacturing has served as the backbone of Wisconsin’s economy and identity. The state's long-standing tradition of craftsmanship and industrial innovation continues to drive significant economic growth, contributing nearly $74 billion annually to Wisconsin's gross domestic product. Beyond the impressive economic metrics, the true reach of the sector lies in the vast array of everyday items produced within the state.
To illustrate this widespread impact, Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC), the statewide chamber of commerce and manufacturers association, launched a new awareness campaign. Featuring a detailed poster and an insightful column titled "How Wisconsin Manufacturers ‘Make’ Your Day" by WMC President and CEO Kurt Bauer, the campaign highlights the integral role local manufacturing plays from morning until night.
By following a narrative structure of a typical day, WMC demonstrates how Wisconsin-made goods support essential daily activities. From morning routines and household upkeep to meal preparation and family leisure, products crafted by local workers quietly power the everyday lives of citizens across the state and nation.
