Richland County is gearing up to host its 2nd Annual Career Fair
Richland County is gearing up to host its 2nd Annual Career Fair on Wednesday, November 18, at the Richland Center High School Campus Gymnasium. Building on the success of last year's inaugural event, local organizers, schools, employers, and community partners are coming together once again to help area students explore future career, educational, and training opportunities.
Event coordinators have made several key updates based on feedback from previous participants. The schedule has been streamlined, with vendor setup taking place from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, followed by the main Career Fair running from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. A working lunch will be provided to maximize engagement while ensuring vendors can conclude their day promptly at 1:30 PM.
To foster deeper connections, organizers have also reduced the number of required questions for students, placing a stronger emphasis on open, organic dialogue. With nearly 50 vendors anticipated across various industries and pathways, the fair aims to encourage meaningful conversations regarding careers, internships, youth apprenticeships, and college programs.
Vendors and regional organizations interested in participating are encouraged to reserve their spots by contacting Tom Martin with the CESA 3 Career & Life Ready Team.
