The Riverdale High School One-Act theater group is preparing for two upcoming performances
The Riverdale High School One-Act theater group is preparing for two upcoming performances of "Horror Town," a hilarious horror comedy by Ian McWethy. Directed by Chris Simonson and Katie Fritz, the play centers on a long-winded teacher leading a detention walking tour that quickly descends into chaos. As the group moves from a creepy campground to a haunted hotel and a shark-infested marina, familiar horror trope figures begin picking off students in increasingly outrageous and scary-fun ways.
The public is invited to attend a free local performance on Friday, November 6th, at 6:00 pm in Riverdale High School's Little Theater. Following the local showcase, the cast and crew will travel to DeForest High School to compete at the Section 3 One-Act Festival on Saturday, November 7th, at 2:25 pm. Admission is free for both performances.
