
Church of Cash coming to The City Auditorium
Jay Ernest leads the Minneapolis-based Church of Cash, a Johnny Cash tribute band, for a performance at the City Auditorium in Richland Center, September 25 at 7pm. Tickets for this all-ages show are $25.
The band features Jay Ernest on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Jonathon TeBeest on drums, "Jumpin’" Jack Mansk on guitars, and Tony Wirth on bass. Formed in 2009, the group has released four studio albums, including their 2021 release "Flowers for June."
The Church of Cash has toured across the United States, Belgium, and the Netherlands. They received the "Best Tribute Act 2019" award from the Midwest Country Music Organization and were inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame in 2021.

Adam Hess has been involved in radio broadcasting since 1990, with many of those years spent on the air at WRCO FM in Richland Center. Currently, Adam hosts the Weekend Wake-up and Prime Mover Saturdays on WRCO FM, jumps in and helps out with news duties, handles Social Media duties for WRCO and WRCE, and is the Director of Technology at a Southwest Wisconsin School District.
